Tower Records just released the CD of Alex's funk band, The Shreep, in Japan and sales have been downright brisk (~1000 copies!). One of Alex's songs (Muddlin') is also included on a Tower compilation entitled "New Orleans New Funk," along with some great New Orleans bands such as Papa Grows Funk and Stanton Moore.
